Lenggrieser Hütte in Lenggries

Very nice winter hike to the Lenggrieser hut. On the WE also catering from the hut window with Togo dishes. Keep everyone at a distance so that it stays that way. It worked very well when we were up.

My colleague and I had to bring a delivery up here. View is really very nice. Ideal for hiking and then stopping off.

Surprisingly good food. Recent renovation means pleasant seating and ambience outside and in. Enjoyed the bike ride up too.

The ascent to the hut was described as an easy tour, but it is pretty crisp with 650 m and scree paths. Especially with my knee, which was operated on 9 weeks ago.

Super delicious food and very nice innkeepers. We were last up there quite late and they wanted to close. Still got food and drink. I think it's one of the best huts in the region and the prices are really fair.

Very friendly hut with awesome food! Due to the easy access from Lenggries it's often quite busy and evenings often go on for longer and get a bit louder, so make sure you ask for the room that isn't above the restaurant part if you're planning to get up early.

Very nice and relaxing stay at the hut. Great view of the Zugspitze and shining night sky. The landlords are very friendly, they run the hut in a pleasant, calm and sonorous manner. The food was very good, everything was also available in the evening. We would love to come back.

Simple but comfortable with friendly service, like someone expects a mountain hut in the alps should be.

If you want to have a good food on top of a hill and good valley views, then this is the place. One of the best place for chocolate cake with cream!

Best Kaiserschmarrn ever!

Great place to come back down to after your hike. It WILL be extremely busy, but it flows quite well. Be patient and you will find a place. Great meals and the kaiserschmarrn is a highlight.

Nice sun terrace with great views. Simple menu, friendly self - mountain hut. Great cake, great pieces. The food looks great too. Just a pity that we were not so hungry. We will gladly pick up this omission next time.

This place is like heaven after a long hike. The staff is incredibly friendly and always up for a good joke. The food is amazing and you'll even find a vegan lentil soup on the menu. Plus beer, pretzels, Kaiserschmarrn and lots of meat dishes that is. I personally haven't slept there but I heard that it's comfortable, but - depending on your roommates - sometimes noisy. Oh boy and the view... You have a wide view over the Alps from the outdoor patio. It's breathtaking. Oh and for those who don't want or can't hike all the way: There's a street directly to the hut as well.

Very friendly bar staff and was really impressed to get a decent English tea in a pint glass!
